Adams is a growing community with a current population of 604 residence.  The community offers a K-12 school district, thriving main street and business district, active volunteer fire and rescue departments, park, community center, post office, churches, daycares, fitness facility, community library, retirement center and several community organizations.

Adams host many social activities including: local high school athletics, 4th of July Celebration, Community Days, Annual Tractor Pull, Santa Claus Event, summer ball and many other activities throughout the year.

Village Office

The Village Office is open from 8:30 – 11:00 am Monday – Friday. Please call the Village Clerk at (402) 988-2269 for assistance.

Upcoming Meetings

Village meetings are held on the first Thursday following the first Monday of the month at the Village Office at 7:00 pm with the Planning and Zoning Committee meeting at 6:30 pm. 730 Main Street, Adams.

Park Project

In December of 2018 the Adams Park Plan was created by the Adams Village Board and Olsson. Under the direction of the Adams Village Board, the Growing Adams Park (GAP) Advisory Board was created to see the Master Park Plan become a reality.

The Village of Adams is currently in the next phase which includes sports courts, 3rd baseball/softball field, walking trail and restrooms by the playground.    The first two phases included a concession stand with ADA restrooms, two batting cages, sidewalks, grading and a parking lot that includes ADA parking.

The Village of Adams continues to provide outstanding enhancements and improvements to our park.  Continue to watch all the changes throughout 2024 – 2025!
